What to Pack: 2 weeks in Portugal

May 20, 2018

I have been waiting for this moment for a couple of months now... The moment I pack a few of my favorite things for a dreamy (and much needed) getaway with my love.   For about a year now life has kept us far too busy for far-away adventures. I guess working full-time while also doing grad school (full-time as well) will do that to you.  Because of this, late May turned out to be the perfect time to take a break from everything —right after Spring semester finals but before the beginning of Summer semester.

Well, it has become quite the tradition on my end to share what I pack for our trips.  As you can tell from my previous "What to Pack" posts, I always try to fit everything into a small backpack and a carry-on... whether it is for a weekend getaway or a two-week trip abroad, it is always the same.  Having to check in a bag and then having to wait for it at luggage claim is such a hassle for me.  Maybe it has something to do with the time I actually checked in my carry-on and then it was "lost" in Mumbai (I did eventually get it back... but still).  Anyways, here is my packing list for our two weeks in Portugal. I tried to link each of the items for reference, unfortunately, most the clothing items are from previous seasons or currently sold-out.
